Over 400 "sweat hours" are required of home recipients. Laura is now the proud owner of her home and looking forward to making it even better.
Home Owners
At its September meeting, Alpha Tau Chapter welcomed close friends of Dawn and Andrea, Laura and Brittany Burnett, to give their personal story of working with Habitat for Humanity. They began working on their home in 1996, moving in 1999. To prepare for being home-owners, they attended several meetings and received financial counseling before signing the dotted line. Now 25 years later, they are still as proud and humbled as the day they moved in.
